Group Detox

My Group Detox Program is about food being delicious and healthy. You don’t have to feel deprived or hungry to reduce inflammation, increase energy and lose weight. Don’t have time to cook? Through cooperative cooking, the group shares the cooking responsibilities – cook only once for the entire group and receive meals for the remaining days!

DETOX. This two-week program is designed to make the detox process accessible and safe for everyone. Week One emphasizes preparing the body by reducing and slowly omitting certain inflammatory foods. The first week ends with a two-day smoothie diet, which includes three nutritious smoothies per day, plus approved snacks (if needed). Week Two follows a detailed meal plan with delicious recipes that focus on organic whole foods that help the body release toxins and restore health.

MEET. The group environment makes detoxing fun and social, while also providing built-in accountability. Two meetings include delicious food tastings, educational content and cooking demos while building a community.

CONNECT. A private Facebook group keeps you connected to your support network throughout the program. This platform is your resource for moral support, specific questions, and nutritional information. Daily posts cover topics such as nutrition, wellness and cooking techniques.

COOK. A one-week meal plan features 21 delicious organic whole food-based recipes. Each meal plan is seasonal and includes detailed recipes, grocery lists and step-by-step cooking instructions. Cooperative cooking means you’re not slaving away in the kitchen. Cook once for the entire group and get meals delivered to your door for the rest of the week!

EAT. Eat delicious food and feel satiated while detoxing (yes, it’s possible)! Expand your palate and try new foods that nourish your body, reduce inflammation and help restore health.

Thank you for running such a great detox program and fitting me in to your May group! It seems surprising to me that we already completed the program, but I am happy to say that I am motivated to stay with the program on my own for a while longer - and on to 80-20 after that!
This was a great reset for me in terms of thinking about what it is I eat - both as far as what I should avoid, but maybe more importantly what to include in my diet. I tend to put more thought in to my kid's lunch boxes than my own lunch. I am also excited to try out some of the recipes on my family - I know there are some they will enjoy too.
The most noticeable difference to me while on the detox was the reduction of inflammation in my body. I also appreciated loosing some pounds long the way, and hope to be able to continue that trend.
Thank you - I will be back in the fall or next spring for sure!

And it really works: by chance I had a blood test 2 weeks prior to the cleanse and so decided to get another on the last day of the cleanse to see if there was a difference in the blood test. The results were impressive: cholesterol went from 240 to 188; glucose went from 90 to 77; and BUN from 20 to 11. Thanks Tracy - will do it again next year, or perhaps even the end of this one.

I have lost 7 pounds and have reduced my caffeine intake to just one coffee a day, i am loving a healthier diet and have managed to stay wheat free since the end of the diet. Bread, coffee, chocolate and alcohol intakes were a big part of my diet and they are far less now. I loved the group approach to the diet, it was fun cooking for a group once a week and receiving the food most days, meant that the diet could be followed precisely and therefore was far more affective. Tracy provided us with all the cooking and ingredient instructions and was always just an email away if we had questions. I thoroughly enjoyed this diet (!) and will happily do it again in the New Year.
